Cheap dslr cameras under 200

"What a mess" I screamed. Again I failed to capture what should have being a lifelong memory, simply because my efforts was with a camera phone  instead of a better gadget even if it has being one of those cheap dslr cameras under 200 dollars. I don't know how many times, you too have failed to capture special moments in the lifelike quality it deserves like me!

In order to avoid such embarrassing moments I went researching for the best camera for photography. Let me show you in a moment what my extensive research into the world of the best dslr video cameras led me into. In my long search among professional camera price list, I finally found the best affordable dslr camera for both professionals and beginners. It is the Nikon D3300 24.2 MP CMOS Digital SLR with Auto Focus-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VRII zoom lens.

It didn’t take me long to realize that there are a few important things to keep in mind when buying a camera, either camera phone, point-and-shot camera or a digital SLR camera. These are:

  • › Exposure
  •  Megapixels
  •  Image Processors
  • › Image Sensors
  •  Cool Features
  •  ›Accessories

If you just buy the first camera you see based on price alone or simply because you're an uninformed photo enthusiast then you're destined for troubles and regrets especially if you wish to create beautiful photos and videos capturing life's surprising,  ecstatic or bestial moments worth remembering.  So stick with me here as I will be explaining each of these in relation to the Nikon D3300 dslr camera.

Exposure

Exposure in photography is a function of the triangle of aperture range, shutter speed and ISO sensitivity. Having full control over these settings as well as many more, distinguishes Nikon D3300 dslr camera from other camera types.  In fact this feature is at its highest artistic level in this digital slr, making the camera deliver razor-sharp details even in low-light situations, while a range of advanced technologies makes it incredibly easy to use, even for beginners. You'll agree with me that there couldn't be a better DSLR camera deal than this for a beginner, who need not worry about the correct setting of the exposure triangle- Nikon D3300 24.2 MP CMOS Digital SLR has Auto Focus features.

Megapixels - What is the big deal?

Resolution in dsrl camera is a big deal. Wait a minute I'm gonna explain. The resolution of digital cameras is measured in megapixels. In fact Nikon D3300 features 24.2 awesome and effective megapixels. In case you don't know  a  megapixel is equal to one million pixels! And a pixel is essentially the smallest unit of a digital photo. When it comes to megapixels, you're probably familiar with the conventional school of thought that states: the more megapixels the better the resolution, and the better the digital image. But actually that's a bit of a stretch because all megapixels are not created equal. Camera phones, for example, often sport what sounds like an impressive number of megapixels. After all, it's pretty amazing to pack 30 or 40 million pixels onto a relatively tiny sensor. But to do so, there is a trade-off. To pack those millions of pixels onto such a small sensor, camera phones, and even point-and-shoot cameras, simply make use of much smaller pixels than DSLR cameras. But small pixels simply don't behave as well as much larger ones, such as those found in Nikon D3300 dsrl camera sensor . The bigger pixels of Nikon D3300 camera  absorb light better, produce better color and are not nearly as prone to "noise" and color distortions.

Of course, if all else were equal, more megapixels would be an upgrade. But typically, all things are not equal, especially when comparing megapixels across different camera types. A 12-megapixel DLSR camera, for example, will invariably outperform even a 24-megapixel point-and-shoot camera, or a 40-megapixel camera phone. Even then, aside from the whopping 24.2 effective megapixels known with Nikon D3300, the optical anti-aliasing filter has been removed in this dsrl camera. This is a filter commonly installed in digital cameras to reduce occurrences of optical aberrations such as moirĂ© patterning – unwanted artifacts appearing on images that feature repetitive detail patterns. Nikon removes the filters entirely in favor of optimal sharpness, relying on the big megapixel counts to cope with any moirĂ©-causing patterns. What this translate to interestingly is that the D3300 high-resolution sensor is now able to capture every possible detail, putting it in the same league with more advanced (and more expensive) cameras. To this end, the Nikon D3300 is even far preferable than its predecessor D3200 with which it shares identical resolution. So wouldn't you agree with me if I say Nikon D3300 is the best dsrl camera for beginners?

Image Processor

Needless to say that the components found in DSLR cameras are typically more advanced than those found in other cameras. The image processor, which is like the brain of a digital camera, is no exception. Also It's difficult to compare DSLR camera image processors across brands because manufacturers typically do not offer easily comparable specs. And another consideration is the proprietary software that each manufacturer has painstakingly designed to function with their cameras' image processors. The results of image processors and software working in tandem is essentially what produces many of the artistic and effects capabilities built into DSLR cameras, and controlled by various settings. When you to turn to the dslr camera under our scrutiny, you'll be shocked by the state of the art image processor it features. The D3300 camera come with the new Expeed 4 image-processing engine, Nikon’s fastest processor yet.  The D3300's new EXPEED 4 lets you shoot at high speeds up to 5 frames per second, shoot in low light with high ISO sensitivity, create high-resolution panoramas and much more. Your 24.2-megapixel photos and 1080p Full HD videos will be so impressive, so rich with detail and color—so lifelike—they'll bring back the feelings of the moments they capture.
